Furthermore, the whitening gel can be harsh and can leak from the ill-fitting tray, causing burns, irritation, and ulcers in your mouth.

This allows the patients to get teeth up to 6 shades whiter than their actual teeth shade within an hour. This too is carried out with custom-made trays in the dental office, and the patient is called back after 1 week for a quick check-up and for the delivery of their trays that the patient can use at home.
Home Whitening
If you wish to get whiter teeth in the comfort of your home, you can discuss the at-home whitening option with your dentist. You will be provided with the custom-made trays for your mouth and the whitening gel, along with all the instructions you are supposed to follow. After this treatment, you would be called in for a follow-up appointment to monitor the results.
