One advantage of being a children‘s dentistry is that kids love us! We ensure that our little patients are treated gently with the utmost special care to help keep their nerves under control. The sooner you start with dental trips, the better your child will cooperate and give importance to maintaining their oral hygiene. We make them fully comfortable by giving them a little ride in the dental chair, showing them their teeth in the mouth mirror, and giving them a hand balloon and sticker at the end of the appointment.
Once your child has at least one tooth, they should see their dentist every six months, just like any other patient.
Preventative Care
Preventative care begins from home. We work closely with parents to help them push their children into implementing good oral hygiene measures. These measures include proper brushing and flossing, reducing the number of sugary treats in a day, and maintaining a good diet to help maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Fissure sealants are a thin layer of filling material that is placed in the pits and fissures of your child’s posterior teeth to help prevent the formation of a cavity. The posterior teeth are more susceptible to caries as the toothbrush cannot reach them, causing plaque build-up. This is a cheap preventative measure that can last up to five years and can be replaced after it has been worn off.
